2017 National Safety Stand-Down Week to Prevent Falls in Construction

Fields marked with * are required.

The CCIA Safety Committee is asking all members to participate by conducting Fall Hazard training at some point during the OSHA National Safety Stand-Down Fall Prevention Week, May 8 - 12, 2017, and report the number of employees trained below.

All responses will then be reported in the aggregate to OSHA as a combined effort.

Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 350 of the 937 construction fatalities recorded in 2015 (BLS data). Those deaths were preventable. The National Fall Prevention Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries.

To be counted, please complete the form and submit.
