The 2008 School Building Project Priority List

The 2008 School Building Project Priority List has been released by the Department of Education.
The list is published annually and approved by a subcommittee of the legislature’s Education Committee.
It lists all projects, by category, including the amount of each estimated project grant; describes projects; provides a summary analysis of the priority list for the current and past 5 years; and provides a supplemental schedule of projects previously approved for which costs or project scope have changed to a significant degree.

CCIA members attended attended CTDOT’s press conference in Farmington highlighting National Work Zone Awareness Week, which honors the workers and professionals who help keep construction zones safe. CCIA President Don Shubert, was a one of the speakers, who urged motorists to take an active role in protecting roadway workers and drivers. -
