The Department of Education has published a circular letter to school superintendents, business managers and chief municipal officers about the new requirement to publicly bid contracts for school construction architectural or construction management services. Circular Letter C-6, which should be accessible shortly on the agency’s website, www.sde.ct.gov/sde (click on Agency Circular Letters), summarizes the new law (PA 07-249) and provides answers to frequently asked questions.
