Connecticut Construction Industries Association: New President

CCIA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE Donald Shubert as the new President of the Association. Don’s first day as President will be July 1, 2008. He has been the Director of Regulatory Affairs at CCIA for over six years. Don has been involved in various activities that support the industry over the past 20 years. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and perspective to the leadership position of the Association.

AFTER 41 YEARS OF DISTINGUISHED SERVICE, Marvin Morganbesser will assume the role of President Emeritus of the Connecticut Construction Industries Association through the remainder of 2008. Marvin has led the Association since its inception, and looks forward to moving into his senior advisory capacity.

CCIA members attended attended CTDOT’s press conference in Farmington highlighting National Work Zone Awareness Week, which honors the workers and professionals who help keep construction zones safe. CCIA President Don Shubert, was a one of the speakers, who urged motorists to take an active role in protecting roadway workers and drivers. -
