CCIA safety committee
The CCIA Safety Committee sponsors a variety of educational and development opportunities for construction professionals geared toward creating a healthier, safer, and smarter workplace. Monthly meetings are held to discuss regulatory updates, new safety technology and best practices, and training needs. Each committee meeting begins with a one hour roundtable discussion on timely topics and the current safety environment, open to all CCIA members. Safety Awards
There are two annual safety awards for which members may apply. The CCIA Safety Recognition Awards and Platinum Level Awards, and the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA). The CCIA Safety Recognition Awards are presented at the CCIA Annual Meeting and Holiday Reception in December. The NASA Awards are presented at the AGC-CT Industry Recognition Awards Dinner in October. Visit the safety awards page for eligibility requirements and how and when to apply.
Safety Construction Stand Downs
Each year, members participate in safety stand downs to educate and promote a safe workplace.
