Associated General Contractors of Connecticut (AGC/CT) is the building division of the Connecticut Construction Industry Association, representing 150 commercial, industrial, and institutional construction contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and professionals serving the Connecticut construction industry. AGC/CT was established in 1947 as the 28th chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, a national trade association. AGC serves our nation's construction professionals by promoting the skill, integrity and responsibility of those who build America.
Mission Statement
The mission of the AGC of Connecticut shall be to provide leadership and services to the AGC members and to the commercial construction industry. This purpose shall be achieved toward the following goals consistent with chapter aims:
To create a better business climate for the construction industry in Connecticut;
To promote skill, responsibility, and integrity in the construction industry;
To serve as spokesman for the construction industry; and
To improve the image of the construction industry.
