THE ASPHALT PAVEMENT AWARDS for the 2023 paving season were presented at the CAAPA Asphalt Pavement Conference on Fri., Apr. 19, 2024, in the Wagon Room at the Aqua Turf Club.
Ten projects were selected out of 36 nominations, and 44 awards were presented at the breakfast. Congratulations to the project winners listed in the event program. In addition, special guest speaker, Dr. Vince Hafeli, president of Ajax Paving Industries, shared his personal journey and statics on suicide in construction. He gave attendees tips on how to recognize warning signs and how to implement programs in your company.
