The International Playground Contractors Association is presenting the Playground Construction School on Nov. 14-16, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The program will feature workshops and presentations on guidelines, standards, laws and in-the-field construction training, including site design, pre-construction, and job-site safety. Deadline for registration, which costs $595, is Oct. 10, 2012.
IRS resources “continue to be stretched thin, and the current trend of decreased resources coupled with increased complexity exacerbates the problem,” the IRS Oversight Board said in its Annual Report to Congress 2011. “The board cannot predict that a breaking point will occur, but a continuation of current trends increases the risk that the IRS will experience serious problems in the future,” the report said.
