CCIA COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Purpose of the Award

Along with CCIA commitment to “shaping the future of the construction industry” the Association would like to recognize efforts made by member organizations that contribute to their communities by enhancing and improving the overall quality of life for Connecticut’s citizens while demonstrating a sustained commitment to the community.

There are many CCIA members who are very active with various community projects that improve lives on a daily basis. CCIA will recognize outstanding community service projects at the CCIA Annual Membership Meeting & Holiday Reception to be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Aqua Turf Club. Eligibility:

• All CCIA members in good standing are eligible to submit a Nomination Form by 5:00 pm, Friday, October 26, 2018.  There is no fee.
• Eligible projects are those completed since last year’s awards.

Nomination Submission Criteria:

• Completion of the Community Service Award Nomination Form  (Nomination Form for 2018 will be updated soon). 
• Project Summary to include:
  • Community need for this project.
  • Why the project is deserving of this award.
  • Financial commitment (include cost of materials, supplies, and staff labor).
  • Timeline of project.
  • If partnered with other organizations, include this information.
  • Outcome and benefits to the community.
  • No more than 750 words.
• Provide nominee’s logo, color high res jpg, and five digital color photos to akavanaugh@ctconstruction.org.

Submission Deadline - Applications should be sent to Alison Kavanaugh at CCIA, 912 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 112, Wethersfield, CT 06109, or via E-mail: akavanaugh@ctconstruction.org by 5 pm Friday, October 26, 2018.
