Congratulations to the nine top performers from commercial construction fields were honored for their skills, talents, and prominent achievements at the Fifteenth Annual AGC of Connecticut Industry Recognition Awards & Dinner on October 10, 2019, at the Aqua Turf Club.
The AGC/CT Industry Recognition Dinner scheduled on Thursday, October 15, 2020, has been canceled to ensure the health and safety of attendees.

This has been a joint program sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the Connecticut Asphalt & Aggregate Producers Association. The Asphalt Paving Awards Program is open to asphalt paving projects annually. These awards are recognized at the annual CAAPA Paving Conference, typically scheduled in the April timeframe.

The Arthur Gruhn Excellence in Construction Awards competition was initiated in 2008 as a joint program between ConnDOT and the Industry to highlight and showcase the high quality of projects delivered for the public benefit in Connecticut. This annual award is open to any Connecticut Road Builder Association member projects. Nominations must be submitted to Don Shubert by October 30th of the calendar year.

Community Service Awards: Recognizes efforts made by member organizations that contribute to their communities by enhancing and improving the overall quality of life for Connecticut’s citizens while demonstrating a sustained commitment to the community. Safety Awards: CCIA’s Safety Committee encourages safety in construction and recognizes companies that maintain a formal safety and health program for related policies and procedures. Additionally, CCIA offers the Platinum Level Award for construction firms that have met or exceeded national safety statistics.
