Accepting Project Nominations: DUE February 28, 2025: The Asphalt Pavement Awards Program competition is open to asphalt paving projects. More than one paving project may be nominated for an award. All paving must be completed on nominated projects within the 2024 calendar year or completed after November 1, 2023. Complete the nomination form and submit it to Jean Barlage by Feb. 28, 2025. Important: Please be sure that you submit the actual street and location that you are nominating. Naming the street on the nomination form is best.
These awards will be recognized at the annual CAAPA Paving Conference scheduled on Friday, April 11, 2025.

The Arthur Gruhn Excellence in Construction Awards competition was initiated in 2008 as a joint program between CTDOT and the industry to highlight and showcase the high quality of projects delivered for the public benefit in Connecticut. This annual award is open to any Connecticut Road Builder Association member project.
Nominations are closed; The awards will be presented at the Connecticut Road Builders Association Fall Dinner Meeting on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

CCIA members are encouraged to apply for the Safety Recognition Award and the Platinum Level Award. Applications for the 2024 awards are closed. Recipients will be notified in advance and the awards will be presented at CCIA Annual Meeting and Holiday Reception.
