This has been a joint program sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the Connecticut Asphalt & Aggregate Producers Association. The Asphalt Paving Awards Program is open to asphalt paving projects annually. These awards are recognized at the annual CAAPA Paving Conference scheduled in April.

The Arthur Gruhn Excellence in Construction Awards competition was initiated in 2008 as a joint program between CTDOT and the industry to highlight and showcase the high quality of projects delivered for the public benefit in Connecticut. This annual award is open to any Connecticut Road Builder Association member project.
Nominations are closed; The awards will be presented at the Connecticut Road Builders Association Fall Dinner Meeting on Nov. 6, 2024.

The Community Service Award recognizes member companies for their significant contributions made to their communities through their time, actions, talents and commitment to various projects that benefit and enhance the lives of Connecticut citizens. The winning projects will be showcased at the CCIA Annual Meeting and Holiday Reception.
