Every two years, this prestigious awards program recognizes construction firms that have completed projects of excellence.
The Associated General Contractors of Connecticut stands for the principles of skill, responsibility, and integrity, and with the Industry Recognition Award program, we are proud to recognize those individuals in our industry who exemplify these ideals.
The 2023 AGC of CT Industry Recognition Dinner is on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT. Members will be notified via email when Nominations open and close (typically close by end of August). This has been a joint program sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the Connecticut Asphalt & Aggregate Producers Association. The Asphalt Paving Awards Program is open to asphalt paving projects annually. These awards are recognized at the annual CAAPA Paving Conference.

The Arthur Gruhn Excellence in Construction Awards competition was initiated in 2008 as a joint program between ConnDOT and the industry to highlight and showcase the high quality of projects delivered for the public benefit in Connecticut. This annual award is open to any Connecticut Road Builder Association member project. Congratulations to the 2022 Arthur Gruhn Winners!
The 2023 awards will be presented at the Connecticut Road Builders Association Fall Dinner Meeting at the Aqua Turf Club on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The project nomination form will be available here (check back); and are typically due in September.
These annual awards are recognized at the CCIA Annual Meeting and Holiday Reception, scheduled on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
Community Service Awards: Recognizes efforts made by member organizations that contribute to their communities by enhancing and improving the overall quality of life for Connecticut’s citizens while demonstrating a sustained commitment to the community.

CCIA proudly presents Safety Recognition Awards each year to member companies that apply and meet certain specified criteria. CCIA's Safety Committee encourages safety in construction and recognizes companies that maintain a formal safety and health program or related policies and procedures. In order to recognize and reward those construction firms that have met or exceeded national safety statistics, CCIA also offers the Platinum Level Award.
