This bill returns
the prompt payment provisions on public work to the original text.
This is extremely
important because during the last legislative session a constituent misled a legislator into believing that
it is unnecessary to have prompt payment provisions when there is a payment bond on a public project, and the
prompt payment provisions were removed at the last minute without challenge.

LEGISLATORS TO VOTE FOR THE BILL AND PUT THE PROMPT PAYMENT PROVISIONS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE SINCE
1969.
