Safety Roundtables

The CCIA Safety Committee hosts one hour Safety Roundtables each month. These meetings are open to all CCIA members and includes a pizza lunch.

This four-hour Health & Safety Institute course has been approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and reviewed by the HSI Advisory Council. It reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). It also conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.
Certification period: 2 years from month of issue

Train the Trainer prepares you to teach others the Foundations for Safety Leadership.
Student Objectives:

  • Explain the goal of the Foundations for Safety Leadership training module and the 3 learning objectives.
  • Describe the two main sections of the FSL module, key training elements in each one, and some of the activities.
  • Discuss teaching tips for conducting the FSL.
  • Explain why reviewing the full instructor guide is critical prior to teaching the FSL module.
